"..More to the point, breathing space describes the decor here. Bright ivy stencils dance along the dinning rooms walls, period antiques reside in moderation and full breakfasts on the wraparound porch start Indian summer days with a smile.
Upstairs, the J. Edward Curtis Room, Jasso's dearest, is perched in a wide turret with a private porch looking over the golden top of a massive poplar tree in the front yard. Look to the left, look to the right, what you're seeing is a quintessential Kettle Moraine panorama - trademark rolling hills flushed with seasonal colors. "You can hear the wind through the trees," Kim says. It's very relaxing." Inside, hoist your stocking feet on the bed's homemade quilt, graze at the fireplace, watch on of the inn's 80 videotapes or take a dip in the boomerang-shaped double whirlpool.
